Dot

June 4, 2024

Meet Dot!
Dot is a 13 lb super energetic and playful girl, who loves her people and her toys!

Dot would do well with another well matched small dog and a secure yard for her zoomies!

She is a typical chihuahua – she has a voice and likes to “talk”.  She needs slow introductions to new dogs and isn’t a “dog park” or “off leash” pup. She likes to chase – squirrels, birds, leaves..anything that moves!

Dot loves to play with her toys and carry them around. Due to her size and energy level, she would not be a good fit for kids or older folks as she tends to get underfoot.

In the evening, she is a world class snuggler and likes to curl up on you

Dot’s backstory

Dot and her siblings were discovered by a gentleman on his property. He saw a small cream colored dog crawling in/out from under his shed but she would bolt if approached. He put out food and water which she eagerly ate. Shortly thereafter, he heard some little noises and realized that she had given birth under the shed. He reached out to K9Reunite for help. On arrival, a litter of 2 week old puppies were discovered – tucked away, deep under the shed. We were able to bring Mama and all the pups into a wonderful foster home where Mama could raise her pups in a safe and stress free environment.

Energy Level? High Energy

House trained? Yes

What is her ideal home? Someone who will have the time to spend with her and provide her with lots of positive experiences to continue to build her confidence.
