Dixie

Dixie is a sweet, loving girl who wags her whole body whenever she sees you. Her bright eyes look up at you as if you’re the best thing in the world.

Dixie is about 2 years old and weighs around 60 pounds. She’s a German Shepherd (49%), Boxer (35%), and Australian Cattle Dog (16%) mix who absolutely loves to play fetch—especially with her favorite blue Chuck-it balls. At the park, she’s all about the game, while at home she enjoys snuggling and relaxing by your side. She also loves lying in the sun and having her ears gently pet.

She’s great on walks and would thrive with an active person who enjoys long walks, runs, or backyard playtime. 

Dixie is wonderful with other dogs and currently lives in a foster home with them. She also loves children. She has not been tested with cats. She could do well as an only dog or with a canine companion.

She is spayed, up to date on all her shots, and has been in foster care for far too long. Dixie is more than ready to find her forever home and the person she can adore with her whole heart.
