Our Recent Rescue from Shelter Kill List

Vera’s story.

We had rescued this amazing 11 month old Shepard with an extremely kind heart and desire to live a happy life. Vera was located at San Jose Animal shelter and was on the special needs list ready to be put down. We could not allow this to happen especially after meeting her and realizing how sweet she is. Vera was considered to have behavioral issues due to barking/lunging/growling at strangers, however, she was extremely kind and lovable with her handlers. Just like a child needs education and manners, the same can be applied to Vera who is still just a pup.

It takes a village to save a life, so a group of people came together to save Vera from her death sentence and to give her an opportunity to find a forever home. We saw a lot of potential in her which is why proper training was of the upmost importance at that time. She completed obedience and socializing trainings, and attends day care with other dogs regularly.

Today, Vera is doing great with her new family. She is very well behaved, obedient, smart and super happy!
