Meet Shelby — a gorgeous, affectionate German Shepherd with a serious love for water!

Shelby is a beautiful three-year-old black-and-tan German Shepherd who was rescued just in time from a shelter where she was at risk of euthanasia. Now she is ready to leave her past behind and find the loving home she deserves.

Shelby is affectionate, playful, and full of joyful energy. She loves being close to her people, knows “sit,” and is very food-motivated—making treats a great tool for continuing her training.

Her absolute favorite activity is playing with water from the hose. Turn it on, and Shelby transforms into the happiest dog in the world! Her daily water games are guaranteed to make you laugh.

Shelby is an active girl. She would thrive with an energetic adopter who will give her plenty of exercise, playtime, structure, and continued training. In return, Shelby will bring endless affection, entertainment, and loyal German Shepherd companionship into her new family’s life.
