Ava

Ava is a sweet, affectionate, and energetic dog. She is very smart and attentive, and she takes very well to training and agility. Her tail is always wagging. She will often sit down in front of you, make solid eye contact while wagging her tail, and wait for you to give her something to do. She has a lot of energy and will do best in an active home that enjoys running, hiking or other physical activities. After some play time, her sweet personality shines through. She loves any sort of affection, particularly scratches on her neck, behind her ears, and her chest. Though she has shorter hair, her coat is surprisingly soft. She does well around dogs, though she is a little wary of bigger dogs. She has not spent any time around cats. Though she is very sweet, she would not be recommended for a house with small children or the elderly due to her high energy level.
