Alf

Meet Alf – gorgeous, calm, loving, 8lb cat looking for a forever companion, he will be the most loyal friend. When you first meet him, you can see he wants to trust someone, give all his love, and feel it back.

One of the volunteers from our partner rescue in Kazakhstan saw this cat in the hands of a young man who brought the cat to the vet. One of the cat’s paws was hanging down, with no visual sensitivity, covered in brilliant green (primitive antiseptic), and the cat was looking lifeless and motionless. 

The volunteer got her cat and was leaving when she overheard the conversation between the man and the vet. 

– I don’t know what happened to him, this cat lives on the streets, said the man.

– The cat has an open fracture, we don’t have pins to repair broken bones and will have to amputate, said the vet.

– Ok, do what you have to do, and I will ask my grandma to take care of him, but I can’t pick him up after the surgery, I have a flight.

While in the car the volunteer couldn’t stop thinking of this cat, what if grandma won’t be able to provide the required care, what if the man will just send him back on the streets… She turned her car back and got the cat, it was back in December 2020.

Alf was sent to a neighboring city, got his leg fixed, he is active, healthy, and happy now. He has so much love to give, he is humble and respectful. Alf was born and grew up on the streets and has never seen love before, we believe he will open up more with someone who can give him all their attention and show what human love is. He needs you and will always be by your side, no matter what!

We would prefer Alf to be adopted into a house with a quiet environment with no other animals. The happiness and quality of life for our animals is our top priority. 

Alf is spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated to age, dewormed, treated from fleas and litter-box trained.
