Anouk

Anouk is a gentle and lovable 47 pounds Shepherd that is looking for a forever home! 

Anouk’s story will touch your heart, found on the side of the road after being hit by a car, Anouk is full of love, compassion, and expresses kindness to everyone around her. Anouk has amazing support team and has been healing very well and showing progress every day. She is thankful for all the attention she can get and loves to make new human and furry friends. Anouk is becoming stronger and happier every day under the careful and nutritious care of her foster. 

Anouk’s foster mom shared with us that she loves to shower with a little happy dance in the morning when she first wakes up. Anouk gets along extremely well with other dogs all sizes and with children. She’s very tolerant, shares her toys, and does not show signs of aggression.

Anouk enjoys watching birds, squirrels, and cats and tries to get to know them. She is gentle and will do anything to get attention and pets from her human. Anouk is curious and smart and loves to sniff and explore new things. She listens to you well on the leash when you take control but is still in need of polishing her leash manners. She even allows her foster mom to brush her teeth, bathe her and put a diaper on.  Anouk is a very cooperative and friendly dog. 

Anouk will benefit from low impact exercise such as long walks and swimming, she will make a great companion for hikes with her favorite human.
