Chubs

Hey there my name is Pumpkin, I’m a 3 year old Bulldog/ gargoyle mix, they call me Chubbs on account of I’ve been storin’ up for winter. I’m looking for somebody to get in shape with before beach season hits. My favorite activities include eating, sitting in someone’s lap, receiving belly rubs, I love to play sometimes a little rough, oh yeah and did I mention eating!! I love treats, I’d do almost anything for some tasty snacks. I get along well with just about everyone dogs are cool and all but I love my human friends because they can reach the itch just above my butt that I just can’t get to. So If you like big mutts and you cannot lie come check me out at the County Animal Shelter .

KP dog greets handler at the front of the kennel eager for attention. Very easy to leash, needs work walking on leash, will pull if interested in sniffing something. Dog very people oriented will walk alongside you out in play yard, will wonder off occasionally to sniff but will come right back.

INVASIVE: Dog loves attention, allows rubs all over body. Checked teeth 3X without issue, messed with all four paws without issue, she even allowed me to pick her up and hold her like a baby. Due to wounds on ears I didn’t attempt to touch them, however when she gives kisses she doesn’t seem to mind if they rub against you. 

FOOD: When she got back in her kennel she began to eat and allowed me to pull bowl away and stick my hand in without issue.

DOG2DOG: Dog does well in play groups, loose in yard with other dogs male and female without issue but was able to lay down and relax. Will solicit attention from handlers but will not actively seek attention from other dogs. One on one she is a bit forward and rude will jump on other dogs and pull on leash to get to the test dog.
