Dear friends, these three little puppies are in need of medical help. Andy was found with scalped wounds, shaking and crying with pain by a kind girl who feeds homeless puppies in the neighborhood. She said that five puppies disappeared in one night and only this one with a terribly cut back remained. Andy helplessly cried for help, it’s not clear exactly for how long. Someone told the girl that they had heard the tireless screeching of the puppies. They said he most likely was cut with a knife by the look of the straight, uniform lacerations. She called the rescue, desperately asking them to help this puppy.
Andy was picked up and taken to the vet clinic, where the wounds were cleaned and treated but it was too late to sew them up since necrosis had already begun. He needs antibiotics and further treatment. He clearly suffered a great deal through all of this. Thankfully, he’s now safe and getting lots of food and rest.
Two puppies, Lulu and Stella were thrown out onto the street during a terrible downpour and left with nothing but each other. A girl heard their cries and went to see what was going on. She found two little pups lying under a tree. She took them home for the night and immediately wrote to the Volgograd rescue team in need of help. When she brought them over, the team saw that there was something off about their eyes, and that perhaps they were blind. The puppies were taken to a vet and it turned out that Lulu had only one working eye and that Stella was completely blind. The vet said that they were born with this condition, and that it was likely the reason the poor things were thrown out. The two were taken to a foster home to stay because they were afraid of the raucous shelter. For now, they live in the foster home. They’re active and happy, but are still bumping into things and learning how to live with what they were given.
As always, sadly, we have to ask for money to help us and rescue these doggies. they will need medical help, Andy will definitely need a surgery later, and all of them will need a proper diagnosis, vaccinations and medical treatment.
Thank you, our Dear Friends for all the help, donations and support!
