Fia

October 2, 2021

ADOPTED – Fia is a stunning calico with a loving heart and special needs.

She is quick as a flame and likes climbing and jumping. She is loving, gentle and follows her foster around the house. But she is not able to control her bladder and bowel movements, and she needs help expressing them at least twice a day. With the right care she can live a full life though – moving and playing like any other kitten, and loving with a full heart.

Though it may sound scary (and it does take a little practice), anyone can learn how to express a cat’s bladder. Once you form a bond with your pet and establish a daily routine, it can be as easy as one-two-three and doesn’t take much more time than scoping a litter box. Even she can go for several hours without leaking she is also trained to wear diapers when needed.

With that said, caring for an incontinent cat is a lifetime commitment. There are few people who are willing to open their homes and hearts to these kitties. Most are considered unadoptable and will either be euthanized or die an early death.  Without the help of people like you, many will die unnecessarily.

So, if you find yourself falling in love with this girl and consider giving her a chance, don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions about her condition. She can be in foster-to-adopt care prior to finalizing the adoption. She has been started on several therapy treatments recently  (with some improvement observed) and we’re committed to cover costs of the full course.

Fia will go to a new home spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated to age, de-wormed, treated from fleas and FIV/FeLV tested.

Please familiarize yourself with our Adoption Process . If interested, please fill out Adoption application  (one application for a pair of kittens is enough
