Mau is a very playful and sweet kitten. He loves chasing the wand, playing with toys and sheets, footballing round objects and wrestling with Mo. He usually keeps himself busy in his exploration adventures, jumping from one place to another and once he is feeling sleepy he would immediately become a snuggly cutie. Mau may feel shy around new people but wouldn’t let go of a single chance to get attention as soon as he feels comfortable. He would lie on the floor and roll around to let the human pet him all over. He loves the head and under the chin rubs and purrs when pampered or petted to show his joy. If you forget to pet him for a significant amount of time Mau would approach with his cute meows and rub his head on your hand and face to remind you of the cuddling sessions. Mau’s favorite spots are the desk and under the sheet and in some moments just right next to you!
Mo is the purring machine and loves kneading near or on you. His adventures and activities are just like a curious baby and he enjoys being held like babies too. Mo is a very curious soul who likes exploring new objects and people and isn’t easily frightened if approached by anyone. He loves playing with the wand, wrestling with Mau and sitting near the window and observing the outside world. His favorite game though is to hide under the sheets and attack Mau whenever possible. Mo loves cuddling and wouldn’t let go of a single chance to make your limbs his pillow (Note: the hooman is not allowed to move until he willingly lets go of his pillow). Mo’s favorite places include card boxes and chairs. Mo’s favorite time of the day is the early morning when he can hear birds chirping outside while feeling the warmth of the rising sun.
Mau & Mo both had a rough start in life – one of them lost a brother, another almost lost an eye. We placed them into a foster home together so that they could heal while playing and snuggling with a buddy. They grew up into very lively and friendly kittens who want all the attention. They love to be around people and to chase each other.
Mau and Mo will love you unconditionally if you find a place for both of them in your home and in your heart. Together they make a great bonded pair, hence we would prefer them to be adopted together (learn why two kittens are better than one ), and reserve the right not to place kittens individually. The happiness and quality of life for our kittens is our top priority.
Mau and Mo will leave to a new home neutered, microchipped, dewormed, treated from fleas, vaccinated to age, FIV/FeLV tested, litter box trained. A complimentary 30-day insurance is offered by Trupanion to animals adopted from our rescue.
As a little kitten Mau had an eye infection, which is now resolved but left one of his eye’s surface a bit cloudy. No special treatment is required and his vision is not impaired, as per eye specialist.
All our kitties are fostered with our volunteers at Foster Homes in the Bay Area, hence they’re getting a lot of individual attention and are well socialized. Our animals are available for meets & greets By APPOINTMENTS ONLY.
