Penelope is a sweet soul who shouldn’t be spending her young years in a kennel. She’s currently living in boarding and it’s breaking our hearts. What she needs—and deserves—is a home filled with love, patience, and play.

Penelope is one of those dogs who stays with you. She’s loving, loyal, full of goofy energy and just waiting for her person to come along. She’s also crate trained and potty trained, which makes the transition into a home that much easier.
Right now, she’s in boarding. It’s not where she belongs. She deserves to be curled up on a couch, not behind a gate.
Penelope is great with other dogs, especially playful ones. If you have a friendly pup at home who needs a buddy, she could be the perfect fit.
With people, she’s shy at first. She needs a little time to feel safe—but once she does? She’s all in. Affectionate, cuddly, and so happy to get your attention. She’ll wiggle her whole body just to say hi, then crash hard when her zoomies are done. It’s honestly the cutest thing.
She would do best in a home with older kids who understand that she needs a little space to warm up. And unfortunately, she’s not a match for homes with cats—she just can’t help that prey drive.
