Pepito is a calm sweet boy, an awesome-looking “black tiger” with a short Manx tail. He was born with a painful eyelid condition (entropion) that makes it more comfortable to keep his eyes shut most of the time, so he looks perpetually happy (mostly is) but he has to be gently handled like a blind kitten. At 3-5 months he’ll be eligible for corrective surgery, which has already been pre-paid by many kind donors. He is a total cuddle bug. He’ll come up to lay on foster’s chest and take a nap several times a day.
We would prefer Pepito to be adopted in a home with another young kitten or with his play buddy Pepita (learn why two kittens are better than one), but we’ll consider other responsible applicants as well. We reserve the right not to place him individually. The happiness and quality of life for our kittens is our top priority.
All our adoptable kittens will go to a new home spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated to age, dewormed, treated from fleas and litter-box trained. They are fostered with our volunteers in groups of 2-4 kittens, hence they’re getting a lot of individual attention and are well socialized.
