Shadow

Meet Shadow- a gorgeous sweet mom of 9 lovely kittens ready to leave soon to her furrever home!

We have opened the 2021 kitten season with a family of 10! Shadow, terrified of being trapped and worried about the kittens, didn’t pass behavior at the shelter initially.  

When she got into a caring foster house she quickly learnt to trust people and opened up her sweet personality. She now likes being petted – purrs and meows gratefully in return, rubs over the leg. Often naps happily on a desk while her foster is working from home and kittens are playing. 

She looks a lot like a Nebelung breed (referred also as ‘longhaired Russian blue’), but she was found on the streets of San Jose, so her true background is unknown.

She will be a grateful companion to someone who doesn’t need to have affection lavished upon them constantly, but would appreciate a sweet companion (she prefers napping on a desk over sitting in a lap). 

She is getting along well with other cats and with children at the foster house, but we don’t know how she would react to dogs. She has excellent litter-box habits and will go to a loving home spayed, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated.
