Velcro

September 12, 2021

Velcro got his name because he sticks with you and LOVES attention.  He is literally a shoulder cat; very sweet and purring non stop. He likes to stay close with people, even at the first sight of a new human. So he may sit on your desk, lap or shoulder. If you don’t pet him, he may meow to you, or even slightly scratch you or bite your ear.

He plays well with other kittens , actively inviting his buddies to play with him. He is a very gentle eater: doesn’t eat too much himself, and lets other kittens take over his food whenever they try to.

Velcro’s eyes look like he is tearing most of the time due to blocked tear ducts as result of childhood eye infection. It doesn’t seem to bother him and doesn’t require any special care.

We would prefer Velcro to be adopted in a home with another young cat or with his playmate Walter (learn why two kittens are better than one), but we’ll consider other responsible applicants as well. We reserve the right not to place him individually. The happiness and quality of life for our kittens is our top priority.

He will go to a new home neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated to age, dewormed, treated from fleas, litter-box trained and FIV/FeLV tested. He is fostered in San Jose by our volunteer with 3 other kittens, they’re all getting a lot of individual attention and are well socialized.

Please familiarize yourself with our Adoption Process . If interested, please fill out Adoption application (one application for several kittens is enough if adopted with a buddy).
