ADOPTED Misty is a true warrior and he is one of the most trustful and affectionate kittens we know, loving to make biscuits and snuggling on your laps.
His mom looked a lot like a Nebelung breed (referred also as ‘longhaired Russian blue’), but the family of nine (!) was found on the streets of San Jose, so their true background is unknown. All his siblings got adopted months ago and are reported to be very affectionate and snuggly cats by their families.
Misty had to be treated from an eye infection, which has resolved now but left his left eye surface a bit cloudy. He is a strong fighter who successfully went through 12-weeks treatment from Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) and is officially clear of the infection for over 3 months without medication.
Misty has such a great personality that he keeps purring and trusting his foster mom regardless of her sticking a needle into him for so long in the past. He gets along well with other cats in a foster home, but we believe he will do great as the only pet in a family as well.
Misty will go to a new home neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated to age, dewormed, treated from fleas, litter-box trained, FIV/FeLV tested.
All our kitties are fostered with our volunteers at Foster Homes in the Bay Area, hence they’re getting a lot of individual attention and are well socialized. Our animals are available for meets & greets By APPOINTMENTS ONLY.
